Every 12^th hitting of a bicyclist, the 10^th hitting of an obstacle and the 36^th hitting of a pedestrian resulted in death. In total, 70 people died on the roads of the capital in 2017. According to the union, more than 530 children were injured in 471 traffic accidents in the capital.

The most frequent violation of road safety rules is speeding. A third of all recorded violations are related to the violation of the speed limit.
