Since the beginning of the year, 13 people have died on the roads of Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan due to speeding, and another 39 citizens have been injured. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region reported.
«A total of 42 road accidents occurred for this reason. At least 9,249 protocols were drawn up and fines in the total amount of 10,117,500 soms were imposed for violation of the speed limit,» the statement says.
The Internal Affairs Department of the region called on drivers to observe the speed limit. To draw attention to the problem, the police filmed a video, the main message of which is simple — speeding kills.
