Religious extremism grows in intensity in Kyrgyzstan

Religious extremism is growing in intensity in Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan told today at a meeting of SDPK faction. The faction discusses issues of combating crime and ensuring business security.

According to their data, 597 such facts were revealed. In general, as officials noted, the dynamics of crime increased by 0.8 percent.

The Deputy Prime Minister Dair Kenekeyev added that in 2017, there were registered 27,000 crimes, and in the first two months of 2018 — 1,600.

According to Dair Kenekeyev, the damage from economic crimes amounted to 4 billion soms and 2 billion were returned to the budget.
