The Government of Kyrgyzstan approved the project «Financing of Agriculture 6». The decree was signed by the Prime Minister Sapar Isakov.
The program was adopted for the timely conducting of spring field work in 2018 and further development of cattle breeding, crop production and agricultural cooperation.
The project implementation period is 36 months. Sources of financing are the republican budget, funds of commercial banks, financial and credit organizations.
The banks participating in the project are obliged to lend to borrowers on general terms: 10 percent per annum for cattle breeding and crop production; 6 percent — for processors of agricultural products; 8 percent per annum — for those engaged in gardening and purchasing breeding cattle.
