Almazbek Atambayev awarded highest degree of distinction for shining merits

President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed a decree according to which Almazbek Atambayev was awarded the highest degree of distinction «Kyrgyz Respublikasynyn Baatyry» with the presentation of a special sign «Ak Shumkar.»

According to the press service of the President’s staff, the award was awarded «for shining merits to the people, an outstanding contribution to strengthening the state independence of Kyrgyzstan, the unity of the people, peace and harmony in the country, creating a solid foundation for sustainable development of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as political will and courage».

After the oath during the inauguration, Sooronbai Jeenbekov promised to reward Almazbek Atambayev by his first decree.
