Sochi to host next meeting of EEU Intergovernmental Council

The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Sochi in late January — early February 2018. This was announced today at a meeting in Yerevan (Armenia).

In addition, it was decided to hold Eurasian week in Armenia in 2018.

It should be noted that in the framework of the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in expanded format in Yerevan, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov said that the country had consciously chosen the path of Eurasian integration. He also noted: Kyrgyzstan believes that the neighboring country will resolve issues on the border. His Kazakh counterpart Bakytzhan Sagintayev stressed that the current work on the border «is not directed specifically in any way against the Kyrgyz side.»
