Sapar Isakov: Kyrgyzstan has consciously chosen Eurasian integration path

«Kyrgyzstan has consciously chosen the path of Eurasian integration,» Sapar Isakov, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, said at an expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council today.

He reminded that the union would turn three years old soon. «This is a short time to sum up the global results. But at the same time it is a term, which allows to look back and do correction of mistakes,» he said.

«EEU is a project that meets the spirit and realities of the time. We see a tendency of strengthening the role of the regional level of economic development, creation of full-fledged regional economic associations,» the Prime Minister said.

Kyrgyzstan has consciously chosen the path of Eurasian integration, which best of all meets the strategic and economic interests of our country. This decision was dictated by the long-term national priorities of Kyrgyzstan.
