Kyrgyzstan ranks 102nd in Global Competitiveness Index

The World Economic Forum (WEF) presented the new Global Competitiveness Index 2017-2018.

The first place in it is occupied by Switzerland, the second — by the USA, the third — by Singapore.

Russia is at the 38^th place, Kazakhstan — the 57^th, Armenia — the 73^rd. Belarus is not in the list.

According to the WEF, Kyrgyzstan is hampered in its development by corruption, political instability, coups, bureaucracy, tax rates, inadequate supply of infrastructure, inadequately educated workforce.
