Russia holds talks with Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on sending military forces to Syria. Russian media reported.
This information was confirmed by Vladimir Shamanov, head of the State Duma’s Defense Committee to RIA Novosti.
«Negotiations are under way, the question of Russian military police participation in solving problems in Syria are being worked out, issues and proposals for our colleagues from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are also being worked out. There are intentions and the beginning of the negotiation process, the decision has not been made yet," Vladimir Shamanov said.
«It is too early to name the place, but talks are also going on with Turkey, they are also participants of the negotiations in Astana," the parliament member added.
