Deputies prolong work of commission on objects owned by Bakiyev

The deputies extended the term of work of the commission on objects belonging to the family of former Kyrgyz president Kurmanbek Bakiyev. The decision was made today at the meeting.

«In addition to the land plot on Skryabin Street, there are about 15 other objects, which for some reason have not been nationalized. It is necessary to find out why this happened. Two more large document folders have been prepared. We did not receive any answers to requests from a number of state bodies, so we want to thoroughly study the issue and report to the Parliament," Kanat Isaev said.

In his turn, Deputy Taabyldy Tillaev asked why the commission could not voice the conclusion on the land plot on Skryabin Street and about the involvement of the ex-head of the SRS Taiyrbek Sarpashev for so long.

«There will be presidential elections soon. We must prepare for them. It is necessary to decide the fate of Taiyrbek Sarpashev. Everything is clear there," Taabyldy Tillaev said.

Kanat Isaev replied that the law enforcement bodies themselves would make a decision on Taiyrbek Sarpashev. And the deputy commission will voice its opinion to Parliament until June 30, 2017.

As a result, the term of work of the deputy commission was extended until June 30, 2017.
