Search works stopped in hit by landslide Ayu village

Search works were stopped in Ayu village that was hit by a landslide on April 29. Information support department of the government of Kyrgyzstan reported with reference to the press service of the plenipotentiary representative of the government in Osh region.

According to it, eight bodies out of 24 were found during the search and rescue operations.

With the consent of the relatives of the deceased citizens, and taking into account the fatwa (religious instruction) prepared by the Ulema Council of Kyrgyzstan on the burial of citizens, it was decided to stop the search for 18 bodies of the dead from 3.00 pm on May 4.
