76 emergency situations happened in Kyrgyzstan since beginning of 2017

In January and February, Kyrgyzstan was hit by 76 emergency situations, including 72 of natural character, the head of Ministry of Emergency Situations Kubatbek Boronov said at press conference.

According to him, in most cases it were avalanches — 54.

The damage caused by emergency situations totaled 219,815 million soms, 50 people died.

The minister voiced the most damaged by emergency situations regions. «This is valley Alaykuu in Kara-Kulja region of Osh region, Chon-Alai, Chatkal region," he said.
