Kyrgyzstan to purchase 140,000 tons of mineral fertilizers in 2017

Kyrgyzstan will purchase 140,000 tons of mineral fertilizers in 2017, the First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammetkaly Abulgaziev said today at a meeting of the Parliament.

Deputies hear the government’s information on the preparations for the spring field work in 2017.

«Fund of the State Material Reserves will purchase up to 40,000 tons of fertilizers from Uzbekistan. Overall, the country uses about 200,000 tons for a year. Private companies imported to Kyrgyzstan about 30,000 tons of nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers and supplements," the official reported.
