Licenses of 13 exchange offices were revoked in 2016 for the systematic violation of regulations and failure to fulfill the requirements of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reported.
In recent years, the number of exchange offices increased in Kyrgyzstan. So, at the beginning of 2016 there were 394 of them — 65 more than in 2015.
In 2016, according to the results of checks, 69 people were fined for exchanging currency without a license.
The National Bank asks citizens to contact them in case of violations of the laws and regulations of the foreign exchange market by exchange offices.
