Kazakhstan permits transportation of other 86 goods items from Kyrgyzstan

Kazakhstan has expanded the list of goods permitted for moving through its territory. Since January 1, 86 items of goods were additionally included in the list. The government of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan has sent an official letter. It noted that the transit of finished dairy, meat and fish products from Kyrgyzstan to Russia will be carried out as usual.

To increase the turnover, Kazakhstan permitted the transit of 40 groups of Kyrgyz goods by all kinds of transport, and 46 groups of goods — in accordance with the recommendations of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code by rail in sealed wagons.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the neighboring country also asked to consider its letter dated December 31, 2016 on ban of the road transportation of Kyrgyz goods invalid. The Ministry stressed that the document used imprecise wording.

Kazakh authorities also support the expansion of the list of enterprises of Kazakhstan, which have a permit for delivery of goods to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. Ministry of Agriculture of the country requested to send the list of these firms for inclusion into the register.
