An exhibition of Kyrgyz women artists Toolordun Kyzdary is taking place at the Bishkek branch of Gallery M. It is timed to coincide with International Women’s Day.
The official opening took place on March 3.
As the exhibition organizers told 24.kg news agency, the project brings together works by contemporary artists exploring the themes of feminine nature, traditions, inner world, and cultural heritage.
The image of women in the exposition is multifaceted: from the guardian of the hearth and bearer of national memory to an inspiring muse and creative force. Floral arrangements and still-life paintings, as symbols of beauty, renewal, and harmony, occupy a special place in the exhibition.
Toolordun Kyzdary exhibition is a dialogue between generations, styles, and artistic languages, united by love for their native land and a profound understanding of female identity in the context of Kyrgyz culture.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until March 25.
