A digital system Unified Transportation Process Model is being implemented in Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the state-owned enterprise NC Kyrgyz Temir Zholu reported.
The new approach will combine all stages of freight transportation in a single software package. The project aims to speed up operations, increase transparency, and reduce errors.
The electronic system covers the entire freight shipment cycle—from receiving railcars at Turksib station to subsequent delivery. All operations are automated and performed within a single platform, eliminating manual processing.
The system offers a «personal account» function for shippers and consignees. Clients can use it to submit requests, track shipment status, and interact with the railway remotely.
The digital format has halved the time required for document processing, reduced the risk of errors, and simplified communication, the statement says.
The program also tracks railcar idle time, automatically calculates fees, generates station reports, and enables revenue monitoring.
