Four new roads and seven bridges to be built in Bishkek in 2025

Four new roads and seven bridges are planned to be built in Bishkek in 2025. The press service of the City Hall reported.

The following construction is planned:

  • A road on Sukhe-Bator Street from 7 April Street to Auezov Street — 4.5 kilometers;
  • Auezov Street from Sukhe-Bator Street to Ankara Street (with the construction of a bridge across South Big Chui Canal) — 3.1 kilometers;
  • Akhunbaev Street from Dostoevsky Street to Auezov Street (with the construction of a bridge across the spillway channel) — 3.5 kilometers;
  • Toktonaliev Street from Masaliev Street to Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue — 1.13 kilometers.

It is also planned to build new bridges:

  • on Auezov Street across the channels of the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant;
  • on Zhibek Zholu Avenue across Alamedin River;
  • on Shukurov Street across the Eastern Big Chui Canal to Mederov Street.

Construction of overpass bridges using grant funds from the PRC as part of the project «Development of the street and road network in Bishkek»:

  • at the intersection of Leo Tolstoy Street — Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard;
  • at the intersection of 7 April — Gorky Street.

As part of the project «Construction of overpass bridges in Bishkek»:

  • at the intersection of Leo Tolstoy — Fuchik Street;
  • at the intersection of Fuchik Street — Zhibek Zholu Avenue — Profsoyuznaya Street.
