At least 96,043.6 tons of agricultural products were exported from Kyrgyzstan in the first quarter of 2025. The total number was more than 18,199 million units, and the volume — 1,389 cubic meters. The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
Seedlings made up the largest share among the exported products — a total of 5.7 million units. Of these, 4.9 million are flower seedlings, 697,000 are fruit saplings, 78,000 — decorative seedlings.
Vegetables (except potatoes) were also exported — 24,900 tons, including:
- Cabbage — 13,700 tons,
- Carrots — 3,400 tons,
- Onions — 1,000 tons,
- Garlic — 141 tons.
Potato exports totaled 15,300 tons, legumes — 12,400 tons, nuts — 8,700 tons, and fruits — 13,600 tons. Dried fruits — 6,900 tons and dried vegetables (34.3 tons) were sent abroad.
All products passed quarantine phytosanitary control. Department employees checked each shipment, taking samples for laboratory testing if necessary. According to the results of the checks, quarantine pests were not detected in the products.
Based on the results of the control measures, 8,604 phytosanitary certificates were issued.
