The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan obliged private and public hospitals to register and notify about infectious diseases.
According to the press service, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov approved the procedure for recording, registration and notification of infectious diseases and early detection of emergency situations in the field of public health care in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The document was developed for the purpose of reporting food poisoning and occupational diseases in the country and conducting epidemiological surveillance.
The system of recording and registration provides for mandatory registration of infectious diseases by healthcare organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, at the place of detection, recording and reporting.
The Cabinet of Ministers added that reliable recording and registration of infectious diseases will allow a timely assessment of the epidemiological situation and planning measures to prevent its spread.
