A freestyle wrestler from Kyrgyzstan, Abdymalik Karachev, won a silver medal at U23 World Championships, which is taking place in Albania.
The athlete competed with an opponent from China in the 1/8 finals in the weight category up to 57 kilograms and defeated him with a score 9:4. In the 1/4 finals, the Kyrgyzstani defeated a representative of the US team. In the semi-finals, Abdymalik Karachev confidently defeated a wrestler from Iran. But in the final, he lost to an opponent from India.
