As part of the investigation into a corruption scheme at the State Agency for Registration of Vehicles and Drivers, employees of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) involved in assistance in the illegal obtaining of driver’s licenses have been identified. The SCNS press center reported.
It was established that as a result of the measures taken, seven SCNS employees of various ranks were brought to disciplinary responsibility for assisting in obtaining a driver’s license for the daughter of the head of the state committee. Two of them were reprimanded, three were severely reprimanded, and two more received a «service incompetence note».
These measures were taken on the personal instructions of the Chairman of the SCNS, Colonel General Kamchybek Tashiev, who earlier in his public speech emphasized the inadmissibility of offenses and called on employees not to succumb to the influence of relatives and acquaintances.
At the moment, work is underway to identify other officials involved in this offense.
