Altynbek Kylychbaev leads in early elections in Suzak constituency

The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan (CEC) provided preliminary results of the early elections of a deputy of the Parliament in Suzak constituency No. 13.

Altynbek Kylychbaev is leading in the elections with a large margin. He won 10,174 votes (48.32 percent).

The results of the other candidates are as follows:

  • Mederbek Saparbaev — 3,280 votes (15.58 percent);
  • Zhyrgalbek Seidakhmatov — 2,493 votes (11.84 percent);
  • Melisbek Koshaliev — 2,435 votes (11.56 percent);
  • Asilbek Arapbaev — 1,351 votes (6.42 percent);
  • Yulia Lilienthal — 749 votes (3.56 percent);
  • Beishenbek Begmatov — 212 votes (1.01 percent);
  • At least 134 voters (0.64 percent) voted for none of the above.

A total of 124,429 voters are registered in the district. At least 21,057 (16.92 percent) of them exercised their right to vote.

The candidate who won the largest number of votes will be considered the elected deputy of the Parliament.

The seat became vacant after MP Tazabek Ikramov, elected in this constituency, voluntarily have up his mandate.

Altynbek Kylychbayev is 47 years old. He worked as deputy director of Jalal-Abad health resort.
