The Eurasian Women’s Forum awarded the First Lady of Kyrgyzstan Aigul Japarova with a diploma for public initiatives.
The event was held in St. Petersburg.
The idea of creation of a high-status international platform in Russia for discussing the new role and opportunities of women in the context of the challenges of the 21st century, consolidating women leaders, women’s associations in the interests of peace and humanitarian cooperation, belongs to the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko.
The award was handed over to the First Lady of the Kyrgyz Republic through the deputy of the Parliament Gulya Kozhokulova, who participated in the forum.
Aigul Japarova heads Ene-Balaga Tirek Public Foundation, which is engaged in charity activities and supports large families, helps children with disabilities.
The Chairperson of the Federation Council proposed to create a gallery on the official website of the Eurasian Women’s Forum with all the laureates of the award, starting from the very first award ceremony. According to her, the section will become a digital honors board.
