Supplies of fresh berries from Kyrgyzstan to Tyumen Oblast increased in September. The regional office of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) reported.
About 49 percent more fresh berries were imported to Tyumen Oblast from Kyrgyzstan in the first two weeks of September than in the same period a year earlier, the service reported.
Since the beginning of the month, Kyrgyzstan’s agricultural producers have supplied the region with more than 20 tons of raspberries, strawberries and other types of berries. The products were checked for phytosanitary safety. The regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor reported that no quarantine objects were found.
