President Sadyr Japarov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kyrgyzstan Nicolas Faye on September 10. The press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The head of state accepted the credentials from the Ambassador and congratulated Nicolas Faye on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan and expressed confidence that his activities in this high post would contribute to the further development of Kyrgyzstan — France relations.
Sadyr Japarov noted that interaction with France is one of the priority areas for Kyrgyzstan. Currently, political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries is actively developing. The trade between the countries is growing annually, and projects in the field of hydropower and tourism are also being implemented.
Nicolas Faye focused on the contacts that took place between the leaders of the two countries, which contributed to the promotion of bilateral cooperation.
At the same time, the ambassador noted readiness to increase bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, tourism and other priority areas.
