24-year-old man killed in Kant town after drunken brawl

A 24-year-old man was killed in Kant town, the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Chui region reported.

The incident occurred on September 7 at about 11.30 p.m. in the yard of one of the houses in microdistrict No. 2.

While drinking alcohol, two men quarreled with 24-year-old Sh.V. They stabbed the guy several times. The victim was admitted to a local hospital where he died without regaining consciousness. The fact was registered under the article «Causing grave harm to health» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Law enforcers detained 37-year-old and 34-year-old suspects, who were taken to the temporary detention center. The investigation continues.
