Mukhtarbek Baimurzaev has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan. The ministry reported.
The order was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
Mukhtarbek Baimurzaev held key positions in the financial and educational sectors of the country. From March 2015 to February 2017, he was the head of the Education, Science and Culture Directorate at the Department for Financing Social Expenditures of the Ministry of Finance.
Then, from March 2017 to June 2018, he headed the Department of Budget Policy and Financial Analysis of the Ministry of Education and Science. From October 2021 to May 2024, he held the post of head of the department for planning social expenditures at the Ministry of Finance. He has been the chief expert at the Department of Industry Policy of the presidential administration since May 2024.
