Zyndan lake burst its banks in Issyk-Kul region. Residents of two villages were evacuated due to this. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to preliminary data, the water level in Ton river rose in Tuura-Suu village. Due to the risk of flooding, 90 residents of Tuura-Suu village and 70 residents of the fish factory area were accommodated in the buildings of schools in Eshperov and Ak-Sai villages.
Emergency Situations Ministry rescuers are using special equipment to change the course of Ton river to prevent flooding of houses.
The situation is under control, local authorities say.
