The National List of Vital Medicines and Medical Products has been approved in Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding decision was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
It is noted that ensuring access to safe and effective medicines is the main goal of global efforts to achieve universal healthcare coverage.
The criteria for inclusion of medicines and medical products in the list are safety, proven clinical efficacy and affordability. The epidemiological situation in the country and healthcare sector priorities are taken into account.
