Arrest of ex-fiancé of the President’s niece Lyazzat Nurkozhoeva, Aftandil Sabyrbekov, and his brother has been extended. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek informed 24.kg news agency.
Aftandil Sabyrbekov and his brother are accused under Article 282, Part 3, «Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues for the purpose of sale in large quantities» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Both will be in custody until October 3.
Such a crime is punishable by imprisonment for 8 — 12 years with confiscation of property.
Recall, Aftandil Sabyrbekov was detained in early July.
Not long before that, he proposed to Lyazzat Nurkozhoeva in Oruu-Sai gorge. For this purpose, he rented a helicopter from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and paid more than 157,000 soms for an hour of flight.
