Members of an international drug gang were detained in Osh region. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
According to it, several residents of the region have organized a drug channel along Tajikistan — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan route. The organizer of the criminal scheme turned out to be a 64-year-old man. He supplied drugs from Tajikistan and sold them in Osh region and Uzbekistan.
The drugs entering Kyrgyzstan were stored in the house of his 63-year-old accomplice, who had previously been convicted of selling a prohibited substance. The accomplice was involved in weighing and packaging.
Hashish briquettes with a total weight of 806.11 grams were found during a search. Seven briquettes of hashish with a total weight of 6,905.47 grams were found in the house of another accomplice of the drug channel organizer.
The detainees admitted to possessing drugs for the purpose of sale. They were placed in the temporary detention center of the SCNS.
