At least 50,564 school graduates took part in the state language test during the Nationwide Testing in Kyrgyzstan. The Center for Assessment in Education and Teaching Methods informed 24.kg news agency.
According to it, the results were as follows:
- 14,862 people (or 29.4 percent) speak the state language at a high level;
- 24,373 people speak the state language at an upper intermediate level;
- 10,204 people speak the state language at an intermediate level;
- 1,125 people speak the state language at a pre-intermediate level.
The center clarified that the statistics did not include the results of late testing. More information will be presented in the final report in the fall.
The Kyrgyz language test has become mandatory for applicants entering higher educational institutions based on the results of the Nationwide Testing since 2024. However, the results do not affect the results of the competition for admission to universities. This year the state language test was conducted to determine the level of knowledge of school graduates. The number of points was not indicated in the Nationwide Testing certificates.
