Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Talaibek Baigaziev introduced a new director Nurgazy Kurmanbekov to the team of the city’s heating and power plant (HPP), the press service reports.
He noted that the management of the enterprise has been given important tasks to strengthen fuel and energy security, prepare for the upcoming autumn-winter period, complete the initiated reforms and implement the plans.
In turn, Nurgazy Kurmanbekov assured that all efforts would be made to fulfill the goals and objectives.
The newly appointed head of the HPP has a diploma of the Kyrgyz Technical University named after Iskhak Razzakov. Previously, he worked as a leading engineer at the equipment operation service of Electric Stations JSC, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Bishkek HPP, its Chief Engineer.
In 2021-2022, he already headed the heating plant of the capital.
The Parliament approved the transfer of HPPs of Bishkek and Osh to the balance of the City Halls. Deputies passed the bill in the third reading.
