A case was opened against a Kyrgyzstani in the Krasnoyarsk Krai of Russia due to the death of four people in a road accident. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
The ministry noted that on January 19, at the 565th kilometer of R-255 Siberia federal highway in Bogotol district, the driver of Toyota Estima drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a GAZ truck. There were eight people inside the minivan.
According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Krai, as a result of the accident, four passengers of the minivan died at the scene, three were injured. The victims are citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. There were no citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic among the killed.
The investigative department opened a criminal case against the Kyrgyzstani for a fatal accident under Part 5 of Article 264 «Violation of the Rules of the Road and Operation of Vehicles» of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
