Administrative-territorial reform will not be carried out in the border areas of Batken region of Kyrgyzstan until the process of delimitation and demarcation of the state border with Tajikistan is completed. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, stated at a meeting of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Judicial, Legal Issues and Regulations of the Parliament.
According to him, during the administrative-territorial reform, 13 aiyl aimaks of Kadamdzhai district will be united into 8. Nearby villages and areas will be annexed to Aidarken.
