Wanted man detained in Osh city using video surveillance cameras

Osh police detained a wanted man using outdoor video surveillance cameras with a facial recognition function installed in public places. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

According to it, the man was wanted for hooliganism.

«In 2021, the Osh Department of Internal Affairs opened a criminal case against him, and detention was chosen as a preventive measure,» the statement says.

The investigation into the case continues.
