Kyrgyzstan starts to make compatibility testing for kidney transplantation

The Laboratory of Molecular Genetic and Virological Research has introduced a method of analyzing the compatibility of organs in transplantation. The Department of Disease Prevention and State Epidemiological Surveillance of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to its data, the new technology provides an opportunity to conduct gene compatibility tests for kidney transplantation without traveling outside the country.

«The main activities of the laboratory include HLA genotyping, detection of HLA antibodies, application of direct cross-examination reaction, as well as monitoring of markers of renal rejection. The interpretation of the study results is provided by a high-precision laser fluorescence in vitro analyzer, which represents to date a universal solution for all laboratory diagnostic tasks in the field of organ transplantation.

This innovative method of research has been successfully tested in the laboratory, guaranteeing high accuracy and reliability of results,» the department noted.

For more information or to make an appointment for tests, please contact the Department’s Laboratory of Molecular Genetic and Virological Research at +996312323212.
