Deputies of the Osh City Council decided to pass a vote of non-confidence in the mayor Bakytbek Zhetigenov. It was announced at a session of the City Council.
Deputies noted that the City Hall does not comply with the resolutions of the Osh City Council.
First, the question of passing a vote of non-confidence was put to a vote. It was supported by the majority of deputies, after which they proceeded to a secret vote.
As a result, 39 deputies supported it, and 3 voted against.
The mayor of Osh is appointed and dismissed by the President of Kyrgyzstan.
