The President of Kyrgyzstan signed a decree according to which First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Usekov Ulanbek Abdilazizovich was relieved of his temporary duties as head of the ministry.
By another decree of Sadyr Japarov, Dogdurkul Kendirbayeva was appointed Acting Minister of Education and Science. Her candidacy will be submitted to the Parliament for consideration for appointment to the position.
It should be noted that Dogdurkul Kendirbayeva will be the third woman in the Cabinet of Ministers. The Minister of Digital Development is Nuriya Kutmanova. Gulnara Baatyrova heads the Ministry of Labor. She had been the only woman in the government for a long time.
