Kyrgyzstani Erlan Sherov reached the finals of the Asian Games, which are taking place in Hangzhou (China). The Judo Federation reported.
In the weight category up to 90 kilograms, Erlan Sherov started in the 1/8 finals and defeated judokas from China, Lebanon and the UAE.
The fight for gold will take place on Tuesday after 2 p.m. Bishkek time.
Erlan Sherov became the first judoka from Kyrgyzstan to reach the finals at the Asian Games.
