Since the beginning of the year, the banking system of Kyrgyzstan has received a net profit of 12,033.6 billion soms. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
The total assets of the banking sector have increased since the beginning of the year by 14.5 percent and amounted to 552 billion soms, liabilities increased by 15.7 percent to 465.1 billion soms.
«The indicator of the net total capital of the banking sector, used to calculate the economic standards established by the National Bank, reached 74.5 billion soms. It has decreased by 8.8 percent since the beginning of the year. The share of foreign participation in the capital of the banking sector amounted to 21.7 percent, or 11.1 billion soms of the paid authorized capital of the banking sector,» the National Bank said.
At least 23 commercial banks and 318 their branches operated in Kyrgyzstan as of June 30, 2023.
