President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, as part of his working trip to Osh region and Osh city, got acquainted with the progress of capital reconstruction of Toloikon regional hippodrome. Press service of the head of state reported.
The President was told that this year 45 million soms were allocated from the republican budget for the reconstruction of the sports facility. The main part of the work has been completed to date. The reconstruction project includes construction of a new conference hall, covering the race tracks and the field for playing kok-boru with sand, overhaul of the main grandstand, installation of new 4,040 seats and a canopy over the additional grandstand, as well as installation of outdoor lighting and new fencing.
Sadyr Japarov instructed to complete the major reconstruction of the hippodrome in due time. The first festive events will be held there already on August 31 — the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan.
