Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev took part in Kyrgyzstan — Azerbaijan Business Forum in Cholpon-Ata city. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Bakyt Torobaev noted that the strong political will and confidential dialogue between the presidents of the two countries open up new horizons for Kyrgyzstan — Azerbaijan cooperation in trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other important areas. Within the framework of the forum, it is planned to sign a number of promising business contracts in the field of agriculture, supply of meat and meat products, logistics, and also lay the foundation for the development of cooperation in the field of women’s entrepreneurship and the stock exchange.
«I am sure that the forum will become a promising sign of the emerging fruitful cooperation between the business communities of our states. Kyrgyzstan is interested in attracting investments from Azerbaijan and is ready to create all the necessary conditions for successful investment activities in the country,» the official said.
He also added that the launched direct air communication between Bishkek and Baku would contribute to the rapprochement of the fraternal peoples and would contribute to an increase in the volume of trade between the two countries. Bakyt Torobaev outlined the investment, hydropower and tourism opportunities in Kyrgyzstan.
