President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov had a telephone conversation with the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Sadyr Japarov congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday, wished him good health and further success in state activities for the benefit of the fraternal Uzbek people.
Sadyr Japarov stressed that a high level of strategic partnership has been established between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan through joint efforts and work continues in full to implement the bilateral agreements reached.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev thanked for the congratulations and wished peace and prosperity to the fraternal Kyrgyz people. The leaders of the countries discussed current areas of Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan bilateral and multilateral cooperation and the regional agenda.
