A workshop for meat processing and production of meat products was opened at Naryn State University. The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The minister Kanybek Imanaliev noted that its opening was symbolic, since Naryn region is known for high quality meat products.
«I am sure that this workshop will allow practical training in production. Students will study sanitary standards, carry out labeling of goods, and get the first experience in the production of meat products. Further, classes will be held in the workshop on meat processing and assessment of its quality. It is planned to provide the population with products that will become a local brand and export them to neighboring countries,» he said.
The official thanked the partners. The University of Central Asia (Aga Khan Foundation) provided support in the amount of 2,293.4 million soms, and AgroDev project of Erasmus+ Programme — of 1,350 million soms. The Naryn State University spent 4,194 million soms from its special funds on purchase of high-quality equipment and devices.
