Kazakhstan to build logistics complex on border with Kyrgyzstan

Kazakhstan has approved a draft agreement on the creation of a logistics complex on the border with Kyrgyzstan. Media of Kazakhstan report.

According to them, it is planned to create a border industrial transport and logistics complex for the storage and processing of agricultural products.

It is planned to build it 30 kilometers from Bishkek, not far from Karasu and Ak-Tilek automobile checkpoints on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border. An area of 7.6 square kilometers will be allocated for the construction of the complex.

A bridge across Chu river will be built between the Kazakh and Kyrgyz parts of the logistics complex within three years. Expenses are covered by the Kazakh side.
