A garrison mounting parade of units of the Internal Affairs Department of the republic took place before the start of tourist season at Cholpon-Ata hippodrome in Issyk-Kul region. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov, Minister of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov, his deputy Oktyabr Urmambetov, Presidential Envoy to the region Iliyaz Imanbetov and head of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs Orunbai Kochkorov.
«If up to this day we have received about 2 million tourists, this year we expect the arrival of about 10 million people. The main responsibility of local government bodies and law enforcement agencies is to further increase the tourism potential, improve all levels of service, provide comfortable conditions for the guests of our country and their safety. In addition, this year Kyrgyzstan will host a number of state summits and international meetings at the highest level. I demand to strictly observe the order and fulfill the assigned tasks,» said Akylbek Japarov.
