Parade in honor of 100th anniversary of Kyrgyz police held in Bishkek

A ceremonial event in honor of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kyrgyz police was held on the central Ala-Too Square in Bishkek. President Sadyr Japarov, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of of ministries and departments, veterans of law enforcement agencies and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov took part in it.

A video about the domestic police was shown to those gathered on the square, then Sadyr Japarov made a congratulatory speech. Then a theatrical sketch about the formation of the Kyrgyz police was shown to the audience.

As part of the event, the mounted police of Soviet Kirgiziya, old traffic police equipment and modern cars used by law enforcement agencies to ensure public safety marched in parade formation. City residents saw ordinary cars used by traffic police, water cannons, armored SUVs, buses, police boats and even helicopters.
