Voting ended in Leninsky electoral constituency. Hundred percent of the data from automatically reading ballot boxes have been processed.
According to preliminary results, Damira Niyazalieva becomes a new member of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan from Leninsky district.
She won 35.83 percent of the vote (6,242 voters).
Damira Niyazalieva, 63, was born in Aral village of Dzhumgal district, Naryn region. She was a deputy of the fourth and fifth convocations from SDPK party. She also held the positions of Deputy Prime Minister and acting head of the Ministry of Health as a member of the provisional government in 2010.
She has a medical education, was engaged in business in the field of pharmacology.
Damira Niyazalieva is the Deputy Speaker of the People’s Kurultai.
The voter turnout in the elections was only 13.95 percent. This is a record low for the last three years.
The Central Election Commission will announce the official results by June 11.
